Administrative Assistant (Brighton, MA)
Ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Essential Job Function:

Construction Project Manager (Chestnut Hill, MA)

Chestnut Hill Realty, one of New England’s leading full service real estate companies, has an immediate opening for an experienced Project Manager with experience in multifamily capital improvement and rehabs in our rapidly expanding Construction division. This person will provide oversight and direction for one or more large Capital Improvement projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Participates in pre-planning activities and cost benefit analysis for all phases of work.

  • Create and manage detailed project budgets. This includes tracking budget reallocation's, change orders, expenditures, forecasts and analysis on a regular basis.
  • Initiates and maintains liaison with clients/government organizations to facilitate construction activities.
  • Prepares bid packages and recommends vendors.
  • Administers commitments/contracts.
  • Maintains current project status information and cost data for project control analysis and reporting
  • Monitors performance of on-site Superintendent and staff to ensure project is built on schedule, within budget and with CHR quality standards including CHR Safety Program and OSHA regulations.
  • May represent CHR Construction in project meetings.
  • Manages financial aspects in compliance with lender loan documents.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or a related field or commensurate experience.
  • At least three years’ experience in multifamily construction project management including design and finance preferred.
  • Ability to manage all aspects of construction projects effectively and efficiently including, but not limited to Budgeting, Scheduling, Submittals, Change orders.
  • Knowledge and understanding of established construction practices/techniques.
  • Knowledge and understanding of real estate law, building codes as well as city and county regulations.
  • Ability to read detailed plans/blueprints.
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects, changing priorities and steady workloads.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual with an ability to multitask and take initiative.

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing various maintenance functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. We are looking for service-minded professionals with a cheerful, customer service attitude willing to roll up their sleeves and go to work! The Technician may not necessarily have an apartment maintenance background. However, the ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in some form of facilities or building environment. All candidates must have a current driver's license in good standing. Must have a team player attitude. This position is located at multiple site locations. Participation in rotating on-call schedule along with being available for emergency situations and snow removal (including weekends and holidays) is required.
