Administrative Assistant - Property Management (Chestnut Hill, MA)
Enthusiastic and hardworking administrative professionals with experience who are interested in real estate and property management industry who are looking to add depth to their skill set, will find a great opportunity as the Administrative Assistant to the Property Management corporate office. Your work will be varied and interesting.

Specific Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the President and Vice President of Property Management, Regional Property Managers and Director of Leasing including working on projects, handling documents of a confidential nature and spreadsheet creation and maintenance.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports and presentations for the Management team.
  • Schedule and coordinate arrangements for trainings and special events such as Resident Services Appreciation Day.
  • Involvement in marketing campaigns and projects
  • Assist with coordination of the budgets

Requirements:

  • Very strong written and oral communication skills
  • Autonomy to work independently with little direction
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent organizational and follow up skills
  • Must enjoy working in a fast paced (no day is ever the same) type of working environment
  • Two to five years’ experience in an administrative support role required.

Assistant Construction Superintendent (Chestnut Hill, MA)
Under the direction of the Project Superintendent, the Assistant Project Superintendent provides support in all aspects of assigned construction/development projects to ensure the project is built on schedule, within budget and within our quality standards.

  • Assist in the coordination, direction, and supervision of the work of subcontractors and laborers on site to assure that projects are completed within prescribed schedules and budgets, in compliance with Chestnut Hill Realty policies and procedures, and in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • May prepare bid packages and recommend vendors.
  • Coordinates work activities with property Staff so as to minimize disruption to the residents
  • Ensures compliance with company standards and procedures
  • A minimum of one year experience in construction project management preferred.

Apartment Leasing Representative - Part Time - Weekends (Framingham, MA)

The Leasing Representative role is primarily a sales and customer service position. Senior Construction Manager (Chestnut Hill, MA)
Chestnut Hill Realty, one of New England’s leading full service real estate companies, has an immediate opening for an experienced Construction Manager with experience in multifamily capital improvement and rehabs in our rapidly expanding Construction division. This person will provide oversight and direction for all Renovation and Capital Improvement projects.

The Senior Construction Manager will monitor the performance of Project Managers and Job Superintendents to ensure timely, cost effective projects that meet our quality standards and will manage renovation work and capital improvement projects at our properties from inception to completion. This will include reviewing construction plans/drawings and their submittal process, creating schedules, review of bid packages, supporting the acquisition of permits and approvals, reviewing construction commitments and negotiating contracts and change orders. In this role you will also maintain project progress information, ensure projects are on schedule, within budget, safe and secure, and prepare cost data for project control analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 10 years experience in the construction industry with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field or equivalent experience. Our ideal candidate will have extensive capital improvement project experience and is knowledgeable in all areas of residential construction including rehab of apartments. Must have proven experience managing multiple projects at one time. Must have sound judgment, anticipatory and problem solving skills, excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills. Computer skills including a working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project and other database management systems (Timberline preferred).

Maintenance Supervisor (Providence, RI)
The Maintenance Supervisor for the Regency Plaza supervises the maintenance, painting, HVAC and janitorial staffs and coordinates the daily maintenance operations of the property to ensure that it is safe and well-functioning - all while assuring the quality of its appearance, its level of service and the satisfaction of its residents and commercial tenants. The goal is to build a strong, cohesive and satisfied staff which works together professionally, effectively and harmoniously.

The Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Maintains a working knowledge of all maintenance programs and capital improvement projects to ensure the proper and efficient operation of systems, preventive maintenance programs and responses to resident service requests.
  • Is responsible for maintenance and capital improvement budgets.
  • Prepares the work schedules and on-call schedules for the staff.
  • When needed, performs maintenance in units.
  • Purchases all materials and controls inventory.
  • Assists in hiring, developing and training of staff.
  • Selects outside vendors and contractors by obtaining competitive quotes and schedules and monitors completion of their work.
  • Participates in the development of the capital improvement program and ensures its execution.

Job Requirements include:

  • Minimum five years maintenance supervisory experience in residential property management.
  • Minimum three years maintenance technician experience.
  • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills and initiative.
  • Budgeting experience.
  • Computer Proficiency required - including word and excel.
  • May be required to be on call and must be available for emergency situations including weekends and holidays.
  • Skills and abilities normally associated with completion of at least high school or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
