Apartment Maintenance Technician (Chestnut Hill, MA)
Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing various maintenance functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. We are looking for service-minded professionals with a cheerful, customer service attitude willing to roll up their sleeves and go to work! The Technician may not necessarily have an apartment maintenance background. However, the ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in some form of facilities or building environment. All candidates must have a current driver's license in good standing. Must have a team player attitude. This position is located at multiple site locations. Participation in rotating on-call schedule along with being available for emergency situations and snow removal (including weekends and holidays) is required. Construction Superintendent (Framingham, MA)
Chestnut Hill Realty, one of New England's leading full service real estate companies, has an immediate opening for a Construction Superintendent with experience in multifamily capital improvement and rehabs in our rapidly expanding Construction division. This person will provide oversee capital improvement projects to ensure project is built on schedule, within budget and within CHR quality standards.

  • Manage construction process and field operations for assigned project and reports directly to the Project Manager
  • Coordinates, directs, and supervises the work of subcontractors and laborers on site to assure that projects are completed within prescribed schedules and budgets, in compliance with Chestnut Hill Realty policies and procedures, and in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Produce work quality which meets or exceeds company standards and all applicable contract requirements.
  • Develops and maintain site logistics plan, including construction parking and staging areas
  • Coordinates work activities with property Staff so as to minimize disruption to the residents

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a construction Superintendent in the multi-family field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in these areas: managing site activity, anticipating and resolving field related issues, establishing and enforcing site schedule requirements, managing site safety and insurance risks, interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate both written and oral.
  • Undergraduate degree in civil engineering or related field preferred.

Development Administrative Assistant (Chestnut Hill, MA)

Chestnut Hill Realty is looking for an Assistant to the Director of Development. The Assistant will coordinate development project meetings, assist with stakeholder communication, proposal and presentation production, contract and other document processing, special projects analysis and other support for the Director.

Required Skills:

Required Experience:

  • A wide variety of miscellaneous analytical research and development tasks.
  • A minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience in executive support, preferably in development.
  • Must have reliable transportation and will be required to drive in MA and RI for on-site visits.
  • Assist in preparation of presentations to team members and senior management using Microsoft Word, Power Point and other tools.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of an internal filing system of project documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • 2 - 3 years of experience, preferably in real estate development.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
