Groundbreaking Ceremony for Kesseler Woods, an Upscale Apartment Rental Community in Newton, MA
NEWTON, MA (DECEMBER 9, 2015) – Chestnut Hill Realty (CHR), a full-service real estate company specializing in multifamily housing, celebrated the construction of Kesseler Woods with a groundbreaking ceremony yesterday. In attendance at the event were Newton Mayor Setti Warren, Ward 8 Aldermen Cheryl Lappin and Rick Lipof, and Alderman at Large for Ward 7, Ruthanne Fuller. The 88-unit luxury apartment community is slated for delivery in spring 2017 and will feature open concept floor plans, top-of-the-line finishes, and state-of-the-art smart technology. Boasting condominium scale residences and desirable amenities, The Residences at Kesseler Woods will provide an excellent housing alternative for established Newton residents looking to transition from large single-family homes.
The community will comprise 34 one-bedroom and 54 two-bedroom apartments, of which 13 will be affordable rate apartments. Mayor Warren commented that Kesseler Woods will provide much needed quality rental housing in the area. CHR is also setting aside 20 acres of protected conservation land, and funding traffic flow and safety improvements for the Corey/Vine/LaGrange intersection. In honor of the groundbreaking, the company donated $5,000 to two local charities - $2,500 to the Newton Schools Foundation, and $2,500 to Friends of Newton Tennis.
