April 25, 2008 — Boston Shines

  • On April 25th, a 14-man crew from CHR volunteered, as part of Boston Shines 2008, to clean up the Beethoven School in West Roxbury. They raked, picked up trash, planted new bushes, flowers and spread fresh mulch. Click here to see photos from that day!

April 22, 2008 — CHR Launches Live Green Initiative

  • June 21, 2008 — Nature Walk

    • On June 21st, Christine Dean from the Brookline Conservation Commission will be hosting a nature walk through the D. Blakely Hoar Sanctuary. This is a 25 Acre natural area abutting Hancock Village along the beginning of Gerry Road and entrance to the Baker School tennis courts. There will be a one hour morning and afternoon walk for both adults and children. These walks will be sponsored by Chestnut Hill Realty Green Task Force for the residents of Hancock Village. Rain or Shine so please dress appropriately.  Walks are scheduled for 10am and 2pm.
