Leonard J. Aronson

Leonard Aronson is President of Eric Management, Inc., a contractor that provides investor relations and acquisition services to the Manager. The Boston, Massachusetts-based firm specializes in providing consultation and oversight for the purchase, sale, management and development of residential and commercial properties. Since establishing the company in 1971, Mr. Aronson has managed more than 4,000 residential units, developed the first of its kind “all medical” condominium building at 1180 Beacon Street in Brookline, and consulted on the development of plans and site selection for a proposed 250 megawatt power plant in the Negev desert for Israel Electric.

Mr. Aronson has a broad range of interests and expertise and has been active in a variety of local, national and international public sector projects. His stateside public sector achievements include Chairman of the Board of Assessors for the City of Newton during the first court ordered reevaluation. He settled major disputes with corporations and testified before the Massachusetts taxation committee that created the current real estate tax rate classification. Mr. Aronson also served as treasurer of the presidential and gubernatorial campaigns for Michael Dukakis and was Chairman of the Governor’s banking transaction committee in 1982. He is a former member of the Governor’s Entrepreneur Advisory Council. His international activities include membership in the delegation of U.S. Commerce Secretary Ron Brown, for which he traveled through the Middle East in 1994. Mr. Aronson was also a member of Senator Kennedy’s fact finding tour to Israel, Jordon and Egypt in 1986.

Although Mr. Aronson has more than 40 years of experience in real estate, he has a variety of interests and has proven to be very versatile in applying his talents and expertise to other industries. In 1999, he established a coffee business in the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, which he later sold after five years of ownership. He has also achieved success in the entertainment industry, and was co-producer of two full length animation feature films in Europe.

Mr. Aronson received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Boston University. He is a member of the International Real Estate Institute, the American Registry of Arbitrators and the International Assessors Association.
